Jesse E. French is a Trial Attorney with Akiva Niamehr. He specializes in major personal injury litigation, with emphasis in vehicle collisions, unsafe property, unsafe products, and medical negligence. He has also worked on the prosecution of DUI cases and a capital murder case.
Before joining Akvia Niamehr, Jesse worked at another well-respected Plaintiff firm, Cheong, Denove, Rowell and Bennett, where he litigated and co-tried major personal injury cases on behalf of injured individuals. He also completed a prestigious fellowship with the American Board of Trial Advocates, which included a placement with the Honorable Daniel Buckley of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Jesse is a graduate of the Trojan Horse Method Trial Workshop, the CAALA Trial Academy, and the ABOTA Jack Daniels Trial Academy. He received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal and a Harry S. Truman Scholar for nationally significant academic achievement and public service.
Jesse’s commitment to helping individuals extends outside his work. He volunteers as a UCLA Student Mentor and is on the Board of the of the Western Center on Law and Poverty. He is also active in a variety of organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the Italian American Lawyers Association (IALA), and the UCLA Law Alumni Association.
In 2015 and 2016, Jesse was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a rating service for lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in California are selected to receive this honor.
